KEEP PLAYING YOUR POLITICAL ROLE
Submitted by kyongpark on Sun, 24/12/2006 - 10:15pm."The abrupt leaps and turnabouts of our politicians, whether minor or major figures, must be bewildering. But all the acrobatics, running back and forth, or revolving around their own axis, arise from that internal political feverishness and irritable urge to go from one extreme to another which runs over all principles, ethics, and even logic, with the sole aim of keeping afloat and hurting one's main opponent of the moment. "Dictators" turn into fierce democrats, "integrationalists" become advocates of tribal "national individualities" or the other way around, because the main goal continues to be: keep playing your political role."

LOVE OR HATE, FRIEND OR FOE-the Yugoslav man
Submitted by kyongpark on Sun, 24/12/2006 - 10:00pm."Politically, the Yugoslav man, in his spiritual disposition, is an extremist . . . . A Yugoslav from all provinces and of all varieties, reacts in a political way only if an issue effects the very proof of his being, touches his fundamental vital interests of his deepest traditional emotions. Once he has felt the full directness and complexity of an issue inside his own being, he is prepared to commit himself thoroughly to the cause. . . . No difference is made between the conceptual, political, party or personal enemy. In the final analysis, it is either love or hate, friend or foe."
